🙋♀️Fellow @cochranecollab fans and evidence synthesis nerds - I've just found a connection that I am totally vibing on... history, supportive women, symbolism... Cochrane's logo is basically a shoutout to #WomeninSTEM 🤯 Let's dig in...
That original review was led by Patricia Crowley. She wrote the first unstructured review in 1980. It was Anne Anderson who encouraged her to use it as a basis for an early meta-analysis.

Whhhhhat?!?!? 🤯🤯🤯🤯 I had no clue about the Anne Anderson and logo review connection!
So why is this so neat? ⤵️⬇️⬇️
Every year @cochranecollab gives out an award in Anne Anderson's name to honour someone who contributed to women’s visibility and participation in Cochrane’s leadership...then the winner passes the prize $ on to someone else. 💜Which is just the most lovely thing ever. 💜
💜I love the symbolism behind the @cochranecollab logo
💜I am a huge fan girl Anne Anderson and how the award works.
🫶 Finding the logo/Anne Anderson connection just made my #scicomm day. 🤯
