(1) My mind is blown by AI image generation so I decided to put #midjourney to the test myself.
I decided to dress famous Indian political leaders in the top fashion labels of the world.
I called my experiment BJP in Vogue
Here are the results 🤯.
🧵
(2) First up, I decided to try and style Narendra Modi in Gucci. I think that our PM looks suave AF rocking a vibrant orange #Gucci suit. #Gucci#NarendraModi#AIart
(3) Sticking to the #Modi theme, I wanted to see how far I could take #midjourney . A world leader in a suit isn't all that impressive so what if I went for something more street. That resulted in the following images. #NaMo dressed in #Versace, #Offwhite and #Ovo 🤣
(4) Okay wow, to me this was absolutely insane. Let's see if we could get something that was between classy and street. Sure enough, some Midjourney's take on @narendramodi wearing #LouisVuitton did the trick 💰
(5) Convinced that #AIart was clearly delivering results. I decided to challenge it with some more Indian political figures to see what it'd generate. Here's what it thought that #Sashitharoor would look like in #Balenciaga & #Gucci.
(6) Now that I was amused. My next prompt related to none other than Modi's right-hand man, @AmitShah, styled in #Gucci & #Versace. The results did not disappoint.
(7) For my final entry, I wanted to see if the AI had any ideas for UP's CM dressed in Orange. Again, the results were pure magic for Yogi Adityanath dressed in Gucci and Versace.
(8) While this was a surprisingly fun test run for #midjourney; I can't help but wonder how quickly we'll run into the issue of discovering that it's nearly impossible to differentiate between AI-generated images and the real thing.
Video coming next! Lmk what you think 🙏
