This is so important, anti-vaccine disinformation has swept the planet and the focus on spreading covid infections has left many who couldn’t be vaccinated marooned. The let it rip strategy risks every single one of us. We are rapidly heading back to square one. We should not ..
Rely solely on vaccines at this point. Yes get them as they are very important BUT we need #N95 respirators and #Airfilters. If the let it rip strategy continues variants may well outstrip vaccines altogether. Our governments have been too complacent.
Moving ahead the UK government isn’t even planning to vaccinate. This will leave many at risk. Do not rely on so called ‘natural immunity’ you will be at risk from long covid and other long term risks.
If you were thinking Omicron was just one virus take a look.

Myths
Covid only effects the vulnerable
Covid is mild
Only severe infections can cause long term damage.

Reality
All infections however mild carry long term health risks. 20% are leading to long covid.

This is the fault of the government as they failed to support covid vaccines in children. 62,000 now have long covid and many children who are high risk will not be getting them moving forward. High risk children can’t safely access medical facilities to get their boosters.
because JCVI have denied them. It’s completely farcical and no wonder why with all the down playing in the Media/press the uptake is so low.
Parents need the ability to choose to protect their children from #COVID as well as all the other vaccinations.

I would urge parents to read outside the media on #COVID. They are not talking about long term risks and long covid. This is acting in the interests of corporations getting people into work. It’s not acting in the interests of our children.
