Over 8Million MT of wheat and nearly 15Million MT of corn have left the Odesa area ports in the first nine months of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

No ships left Ukraine on 30Apr, inspections reported today were:

Four ships moved into Odesa area ports. Three ships are inspected and waiting to transit the humanitarian corridor. There are 13 ships in the Odesa area ports including only one at the port of Yuzhny. #MyPrecious

I often get asked why so much #GrainFromUkraine goes to developed countries. The fact is, any grain that leaves Ukraine drops the price, this gives everyone more buying power, developed and developing countries.

As we saw before the Black Sea Grain Initiative, grain prices had sky rocketed and in most cases it was becoming unaffordable for developing nations.
