The #Meitei Hindus were systematically targeted in this pre-planned attack by Kuki Christians.
Their homes and livelihoods are totally destroyed. At least 27 villages have been wiped out. Even on May 7th the Kuki Christians bunt down a poultry farm. (2/n)

Many of the camps providing food and shelter to the refugees are operating without any form of state support.
More than 2000 refugees were forced to leave for Cachar in Assam. 600 refugees took shelter in Mizoram.
The number of refugees is likely to exceed 30000 soon.

Hoarders of petrol have been selling it at prices as high as 250 Rs./litre. Price of essential food items have skyrocketed.
Almost all the hotels have closed their gates and refused to take in customers. The staff staying in the hotel has led to non availabilty of rooms. (4/n) Image

1) SP Sana Akhtar said that according to the post mortem report the victim died due to some poisoning and there was no sexual injury
This extremely unlikely explanation was rejected by the victim's family who refused to cremate her. She remains buried until justice is done. (2/7) ImageImage
2) The victim's family have moved to the High Court demanding a CBI enquiry. The police had not provided them with FIR copy and the post mortem and inquest report even after a week
