It may kindly be noted that Sri #BhuvanendraTheertharu was Sri #GuruRaayara (#Mantralaya Sri #RaghavendraSwamy) poorvaasrama Great Grandson. +
It is said that during his sanchaara halt at Kurnool, Sri #BhuvandendraTheertharu procured this icon of Sri #LakshmiNarasimha while performing morning rituals in #Tungabhadra river. This temple is just abutting the holy river #Tungabhadra. +
It is not out of place to mention that jeernoddharana of this temple was done with the initiative of my Grandfather's brother Nirikhi Rama Rao who was Dharmaadhikaari of this temple between 1965-77 during the period Sri #SujayaeendraTheertharu (Mantralayam). +
My father late Dr. Nirikhi Satyanarayana Rao was one of the chief patrons of this temple during that period. Sri GuruRayaraBrundavana has come up at this place (during Sri #SushameendraTheerthara time). It is now official Raghavendra Swamy Matha under the auspices of Mantralayam.
During that period (1965-77) our family used to participate in all utsavas at this temple which were held as per Sri Raghavendra Swamy Matha sampradaya/calendar.
Incidentally today (Vaisakha Bahula Sapthami) is #Aaraadhana of Sri #BhuvanendraTheertharu. His Moola #Brundavana is at #Rajavalli (Rajoli) in #Gadwal dt of Telangana State.
