Under the UCP, Alberta had the lowest wage growth in Canada.
Under the UCP, wages fell farther behind inflation than any other province.
After the UCP’s big cut to taxation on corporate profits (which was supposed to spur investment) … investment actually went DOWN. Trickle-down economics proven to be a scam, once again!
And despite all the talk about the UCP being “better at the economy” … under their stewardship, Alberta lagged almost all other provinces in economic growth.
Under the UCP, Alberta also lagged the rest of the country in terms of employment growth, falling behind the Canadian average and FAR behind BC and Ontario.
