💥In the Russian cruise and ballistic missiles that attack #Ukraine every day, there are electronic parts produced in the USA, Switzerland, Japan and Germany.
Despite the sanctions, #Russia continues to purchase them through third countries and fake companies.
The majority of the foreign electronic components used by Russia for the production of missiles is produced in the USA - 81%, Switzerland - 8%, Germany - 3.5% and Japan - 3.5%.
In particular, components from such companies as STMicroelectronics (Switzerland), Vicor (USA), XILINX (USA), Intel Corporation (USA), Texas Instruments (USA), ZILOG (USA), Maxim Integrated (USA) and Cypress Semiconductor (USA) are used.
The Х-101 air cruise missiles contain at least 53 types of microcircuits and chips manufactured by foreign companies.
At least 45 types of microcircuits and chips of foreign production are used in 3M-14 "Caliber" cruise missiles.
9M723 ballistic missiles contain at least 15 types of foreign-made microcircuits and chips.
9M728/9M729 cruise missiles contain at least 32 types of foreign-made microcircuits and chips.
In the first seven months after 24 February invasion, Russia imported electronic components worth $2.6 billion, at least $777 million of which were produced by Western companies, according to a joint investigation by RUSI and Reuters based on Russian customs data.
Thanks to this, Russia has established the production of missiles that it uses for strikes on Ukraine. Currently, Russia can produce about 25 Calibers per month, X-101 - 35 per month, Kinzhal - 2 per month, 9M723 ballistic missiles - 5 per month.
Russia arranged the procurement of western missile components through companies in China, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, UAE & Turkey. In these countries, the volume of import of western chips & microcircuits has increased significantly. Most of it is resold to Russia.
What should the West do?
Strengthen control over the sale of these microcircuits & chips: 1. Export must take place only with permission. 2. To introduce a certificate of the end user. 3. To obtain additional guarantees from the importer that these electronics won't reach Russia.
In addition, it is necessary to impose sanctions on all companies that produce missiles in Russia. Ukraine knows about 18 such companies. In the image you can see which of these companies are sanctioned by the West.

🇺🇦🏳️🌈My draft law on same-sex partnerships is registered in the Parliament of #Ukraine under number 9103.
It received bipartisan co-sponsorship of 18 MPs from @GolosZmin party and President @ZelenskyyUA's Servant of the People party.
🏳️🌈🇺🇦Today, I submitted a draft law on the legalization of same-sex partnerships to Ukrainian parliament.
Today 56% of Ukrainians support same-sex partnerships! So, I hope the majority of the parliament, including @ZelenskyyUa party will take the lead from the people!
Every day, Ukrainian LGBT military personnel put themselves in danger protecting us. Yet, if they are in relationships, the state does not recognize those. This means that their partners do not have the same benefits as partner in heterosexual relationships.
This includes some very unsettling situation. If LGBT military person is wounded, his/her partner would not be able to make decisions about his/her medical treatment.
2. First, the legal issue. They are not legal. Period.
According to Ukrainian legislation, a referendum on the change of state borders (that is, on the adoption of new territories and secession of a certain part of #Ukraine) can be held under certain conditions:
3.
–The referendum cannot be held during martial law.
–President appoints a referendum if the signatures of 3 million citizens of Ukraine have been collected.
–The referendum is held throughout the territory of #Ukraine.
Are these conditions met?
Of course not!
#Russia decided to hold fake referendums in the occupied territories of #Ukraine with the aim of annexing the territory. The Russian military administration signed a decree on holding such a pseudo-referendum in the #Zaporizhzhia region.
Of course, this referendum is not legal and cannot be recognized. Because the referendum cannot be held by the occupying government, at gunpoint of Russian army, without an election commission and international observers.
1.6 million people live in the #Zaporizhzhia region, which #Russia wants to annex. But only about 200К live in the territories occupied by🇷🇺& that not by their own will, but because occupiers don't let out them. 🇷🇺wants 12.5% of the population to "choose" the fate of the region
