“Hey nerd, don’t date anyone while I’m gone, okay…?” Katsuki held him tighter in his embrace. Their tears had already dried.

“Huh? Why, Kacchan?” Deku, the adorable dummy, tilted his head like a confused puppy.

“Just don’t, okay?! Promise me, idiot!” The blond insisted, cradling his freckled cheeks. The sound of airplanes arriving and leaving reverberated around them.

“I-I promise… I-It’s not like I’m interested in d-dating anyways…” Deku blushed and avoided his profound gaze.

That was like a stab to his heart, but that was fine. Even if Izuku hasn’t realized yet, there’s something beautiful going on between them. Katsuki will confess and then convince Deku to be his boyfriend once he comes back.

Six months… Only six months in the US for that hero program specialized in explosions’ related quirks and then he’ll return to his nerd’s arms.

“I’ll see you soon,” Katsuki kissed his temple and then parted.

Katsuki’s blood ran cold.

The nerd had stopped answering his messages two days ago. After Katsuki confirmed with his friends that Izuku wasn’t in a coma in a hospital bed he calmed down and blamed the heavy patrol shifts for the newbies in Japan.

He should have known better.

“Nightbirde, I need to leave. I have an emergency back home.”

“That’s fine, Dynamight. You completed all our courses with excellence, and now you are certified on creating silent explosions for stealth missions. We were looking forward to you working here over the following—

month on assigned patrols, hoping that you’d consider signing a three-years contract with us,” his superior exclaims.

“Thank you for everything you’ve taught me. I appreciate the offer a lot. If I ever return, it won’t be alone,” Katsuki assured her.

“That means that you’ll bring hero Deku with you, right? You’ve been talking about him ever since you arrived,” the woman guessed correctly.

“Yeah,” Katsuki smiled.

“Blasty! Welcome back!” Mina squealed and threw herself at him.

“Get off, Raccoon Eyes!” He protested although he was already familiar with this from high school.

“It’s good that you are back, man!” Kirishima joined in the hug with Mina.

“Ugh!” Katsuki groaned.

“Awn, don’t be like that Kats, you love us!” Denki added himself to the affection circle.

Katsuki rolled his eyes.

“Yeah, stop being an ass, C’mon, Sero is waiting for us in the car,” Jirou smirked from the side.

So all his idiots were here. But, where…

“Where is Deku? I thought y’all had told him to come to the airport?” Katsuki looks everywhere frantically.

Eijirou’s smile disappeared.

“He was gonna come with us bro, but Ochako got injured at the last minute and he stayed with her,” the redhead rubbed the back of his neck.

The blond scoffed. “When the hell did they start dating anyways?”

“A few days ago. Not gonna lie, all of us were surprised. I mean, we’ve always known about Ocha’s crush on him but Deku never seemed to look her way. They probs’ got close while working at the same agency,” Mina said.

“Huh? But Deku is with Mirko! Wasn’t Round Face with Thirteen?” Katsuki was baffled.

“Mhmm. It seems that she wanted to train her quirk more in the combative aspect. Tsuyu may know more about that tea,” Mina told him.

“That’s the fucking opposite of what she said before we graduated!” Katsuki retorted.

“Denki, I swear to God!” Jirou smacked him in the head.

“Ouch!” Denki whined.

At first, Katsuki was incredibly furious after hearing the news.

Izuku broke his promise, and with none other than Round Face.

Fucking Round Face whose goo-goo eyes were always following Izuku and stabbing Katsuki through their third year at UA because they were always stuck like glue.

Many of their classmates thought that they were dating, and they might as well have! The only thing they had left to do was to kiss each other, god damnit.

But Katsuki wasn’t ready to bare his heart yet in fear of being rejected, which was stupid because deep in his heart… he knows. He knows the nerd feels the same for him. They are just pining idiots scared of taking the next step.

When Katsuki had finally gathered the courage to say something about his feelings, he received an international offer from a very prestigious hero agency that specializes in explosions’ quirks.

He was so torn, because Deku and him had planned to become a hero duo after graduation, but learning more about how to hone his skills would be helpful in the future to protect others and his nerd.

Izuku cried a lot when he gave him the news, but he supported him like the selfless human he is. Their timing wasn’t right back then, but Katsuki will make it right now.

Now back to the present, bless all those years of anger management therapy. His breathing exercises calmed him down to think rationally.

He didn’t ask himself why. Uraraka must have done something, he’s sure of it. Like that last time when she fucking tried to steal Deku’s underwear to do with it who knows what.

Katsuki had caught her in the act at the common laundry room and almost exploded her right then and there. Sero told him that it was most likely that she tried to make an “amarre” to Deku.

The blond had never heard about that, but whatever the hell that is, from what his friend told him, it wasn’t good.

Anyways. There’s no more time to think about this nonsense.

Tonight he is dressed to impress by showing off all those new muscles he gained in the States. Black tank top, ripped jeans and his favourite black combat boots.

Deku will salivate for sure and Katsuki can’t wait to see him.

Izuku is 𝐡𝐢𝐬 and 𝐡𝐢𝐬 alone.

Round Face better not have touched him.

“Didn’t you confirm that Deku would fucking come?” Katsuki was getting irritated.

“I’m sorry, Kats. I thought—” Mina was interrupted by a knock on the door.

“That must be Midori-chan and Ochako-chan, ribbit!”

“I’ll go open it,” Iida offered.

And there he was, as beautiful as before, or even more gorgeous than when they last saw each other. Katsuki doesn’t know.

The only thing that bothered him was that small hand clutching at Deku’s like a lifeline.

At first, no one moved.

And then Deku and him were running towards each other.

Katsuki caught the greenette that jumped into his arms and locked his legs around his torso.

“Ooof!” He almost fell. Deku might look small but he’s a brick house. Not that he complains about it, that’s fucking hot.

“Kacchan, Kacchan, Kacchan!” Izuku cried.

Katsuki’s heart was soaring because the nerd didn’t hesitate to let go of Uraraka’s hand to come to him.

Fuck, are his thighs thicker now? He squeezed them.

Brown eyes were narrowing at their display.

𝘠𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩, 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘢𝘵 𝘶𝘴.

“Fucking calm down, Bunny,” Katsuki raised Deku’s face from the crook of his neck were he was hidden and started to pepper a ton of kisses all over his reddenned cheeks.

“I-I’m sorry, I missed you,” Deku brushed away his tears.

Katsuki blushed.

Their friends cooed.

“Are you sure that he’s dating Ochako? Isn’t it a PR strategy for them to gain more fans?” Hagakure whispered to Ojiro.

“I honestly don’t know anymore. It really could be like Mount Lady and Kamui Woods, they didn’t have any chemistry at all, Toru. That’s why both are now with other partners,” he replied in a low voice, confused.

“Are there no kisses for me?” Katsuki questioned Deku.

Izuku giggled, leaned down and placed lingering kisses on his face. Katsuki might have moved a bit on purpose so that one landed on the corner of his mouth.

Deku gasped. “I’m so—,”

“Deku. Won’t you come down? Let’s say hi to everyone,” Ochako smiled ‘sweetly’ and tugged at his sweater.

Katsuki smirked.

“Yeah nerd, c’mon. I bet you haven’t seen these idiots in at least a few weeks,” he put him down and snaked a hand around his waist to take him to the others while Uraraka’s hands became fists.

“We are so happy that you two could make it, what took you so long?” Momo wondered.

Katsuki still kept Izuku near him while Uraraka remained around like a fly.

“I’m sorry. I had a wardrobe malfunction,” Round Face gave that flimsy excuse instead of confessing that she didn’t want Deku to fucking come because he was here.

“Really? But don’t you buy new fashion clothes every week after you get paid, Ochako-chan?” Tsuyu called her out without meaning to. It was hilarious.

“I-It’s just that the outfit I wanted to use for tonight got ripped accidentally, that’s all!” The brunette squeaked.

“Is your wardrobe okay?” Todoroki questioned her.

Katsuki yawned.

“Are you tired, Kacchan? Ah, wait, that’s obvious, you have been flying for so many hours…” Deku muttered.

“Kinda,” Katsuki rested his head on Deku’s shoulder. Round Face was on the other side, holding his hand.

“You should go to sleep, then,” Ochako suggested.

“You are right, Round Face. I’m really up past my bedtime. Can I stay at your place, Bunny?”

“Hah?! I think that you’ve monopolized my boyfriend enough for tonight!” She claimed bitterly.

“Oh my god, so you are really dating, Ocha?” Hagakure clapped in surprise.

“Wh-of course we are!” Ochako affirmed.

“That’s why she’s jealous,” Sero laughed.

“Let her. She’s valid worrying about me. I might steal Deku to myself, after all,” Katsuki kissed Deku’s neck.

“K-Kacchan!!!” Izuku spluttered.

“Bakugo, you are crossing a boundary, I won’t—”

“‘Pffft. He’s only trying to rile you up, Ocha,” Mina cut her off. “You know these two have always been like that since third year of UA, let them be, they missed each other.”

“Besides, it’s not like you and Deku live together. Also, I bet that you want to rest by yourself after getting injured today, hmm?” Katsuki chuckled.

Uraraka’s face contorted in anger.

“Please, Ochako. I want to catch up with Kacchan,” Deku and Katsuki stood up. “I’ll see you tomorrow, okay?” He kissed the top of her head and left with the blond.

This can’t be happening. It must be a nightmare. Why the hell is the stupid gremlin back already?! After all the effort she did to make Izuku his boyfriend and all the money she invested on those photos of Bakugo and that other hero.

Everything can’t crumble down just like this! Izuku would never cheat on her. He’s respectful, sweet and kind. There’s no way…right? Their dating life will go back to normal as it was tomorrow. Deku just admires Bakugo to an unhealthy degree, that's all!

It's the blond that she's worried about! That disrespectful piece of shit!

“Uhm… Ochako, why is your hair burnt, ribbit?”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“Yeah, like… it’s completely charred in different places, ribbit.”

“Are you joking, Tsuyu, because this is no fun…”

“No, she’s right!” Mina jumped into their conversation. “Did this happen to you this morning? It makes sense that you didn’t notice because the damage is all behind. I think that you’ll have to… cut it shorter,” she winced.

“No, no, no, no…” The brunette ran to the bathroom to check herself up in a mirror. She had only ‘twisted’ her ankle and had gotten it healed, where the hell did this come from?!
