Yesterday, GOP Sen. JD Vance and Elon Musk called out Mark Cuban and the @dallasmavs on diversity and inclusion. Musk called DEI ‘the definition of racism.’
In Nov, Media Matters reported that ads on X for the @NBA Mexico appeared next to posts with white nationalist hashtags.
Both Elon Musk and JD Vance were apparently triggered by Mark Cuban's thread in support of DEI, diversity, equity and inclusion. So they clapped back at Cuban with silly questions about the @dallasmavs, the @NBA team Cuban owns.
In November, Media Matters reported that ads for the @NBA Mexico appeared next to white nationalist posts on X. Screenshots showed NBA superstars Stephen Curry and Victor Wembanyama next to white nationalist posts. Elon Musk sued @mmfa for its reporting.
In 2020, the @NBA announced it had extended its partnership with Twitter. The partnership apparently continued after Musk bought Twitter and rebranded to X, as evidenced by X CEO Linda Yaccarino celebrating the NBA on X. Branded hashtag remains: #NBAX
Media Matters reported in November, showing ads for NBA Mexico featuring screenshots of NBA superstars Stephen Curry and Victor Wembanyama next to white nationalist posts.
The @NBA has not commented. Its partnership with Elon Musk's X apparently remains intact.
#NBA #NBAX
A source from an @NBA team messaged me:
"Elon is a very dangerous oligarch who has great influence in this culture. Don’t expect the NBA to do much if it has an effect on their bottom line."
The #NBA should take a stand, speak up for the Mavs and diversity.

🚨"Elon Musk is threatening to sue the Anti-Defamation League for defamation, claiming that the nonprofit organization’s statements about rising hate speech on the social media platform have torpedoed X’s advertising revenue." - @CNN
The post saying 'f___ the jews' was apparently deleted last evening -- after garnering nearly 2 million views in 3 days.
When I posted a question about the 'f___ the jews' post, I received an email from @X, saying my Tweet had violated rules against Hateful Conduct, and visibility would be limited.
Why didn't the 'f___ the jews' Tweet violate rules against Hateful Conduct?
Why is this post still up? Does it violate @X Hateful Conduct Policy?
Twitter @X Hateful Conduct policy here:
"we prohibit behavior that targets individuals or groups with abuse based on their perceived membership in a protected category [like religion or race]."
With neo-Nazis marching in Florida, are companies putting their brands at risk by advertising on Elon Musk's Twitter X, a site that allows posts like 'F___ the jews'?
1/5 Elon Musk is CEO of Tesla. He and Tesla board members have a fiduciary duty to $TSLA shareholders to protect the reputation of the company. Elon is damaging Tesla brand with Twitter #HateSpeech. Tesla board members are liable.
2/5 Twitter Head of Trust and Safety Ella Irwin resigned yesterday. Elon is using Twitter to propagate hate, unfettered. Musk is destroying #Tesla brand. $TSLA shareholders are vulnerable. Tesla board members are liable.
3/5 Elon Musk's Twitter is No. 4 most hated brand in America, @CNBC reported. Musk is doubling down, using Twitter as a #HateSpeech platform. Musk is inextricably tied to #Tesla brand. $TSLA shareholders are vulnerable. Tesla board is liable.
SCOOP: Amy Kremer’s Women for America First Tax-Exempt Status Revoked, by me @ranttmedia
Organizer of Trump's Jan 6 rally had its tax-exempt status revoked for non-filing for 3 consecutive years. IRS spox: "May be inadvertent or may be otherwise." rantt.com/legal-liabilit…
It's not clear how funds donated to Women For America First were allocated, nor what action, if any, the IRS may take to investigate donations. E.g., Publix heiress Julie Fancelli donated $300K to WFAF in advance of the Jan. 6 rally, WaPo first reported. rantt.com/legal-liabilit…
I emailed @Tesla board chair Robyn Denholm and head of investor relations Martin Viecha today with questions about Elon Musk's #Twitter activities and his impact on $TSLA. I will report if I receive a response. Source reporting in thread below. #CorpGov#RiskManagement
