It is quite incredible. Look at the messaging from the institutions set up to monetize nature (#NewDealForNature). Natural Capital Coalition, UNEP, etc. etc.

They are now drenched in emotive images of beautiful animals & our natural world.
Now, in comparison, look at the messaging from the dominant "environmental" NGOs such as Greenpeace, 350, Avaaz, etc. etc.

They are now drenched in images of tech & so-called renewable energies deemed "good" by populace. The natural world has been effectively buried by tech.

Okay, this sets off another #branding related rant from me. Creating branding and identity systems is my bread and butter and I can understand why people would feel the need to make a #personalbrand in order to make themselves feel more marketable to customers and employers
but I think people who do this are making a mistake and concentrating on the wrong thing. I replies to this tweet in what basically sums up my philosophy towards personal branding. Do your work and your brand will build around you. If you spend too much time thinking about it
