However, such takes by Daniel are beyond embarrassing and prove that he has absolutely no clue about Rafidism, the Shia-Sunni history of Iran, or even the reality of pre-Khomeinist Iran. Ironically, Daniel’s claim aligns with that of today’s Shahists/Pahlavists, who do everything they can to hide the Shah’s anti-Jewish and pro-Shia sentiments (this is the same Shah who is buried in a mosque in Egypt—something condemned in Islam but common among Shias), and also with the Khomeinists, who often do the same.

The reality is that Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was a Shia king who never distanced himself from Shiism, not even after he fled the country.

The top Shia authorities of Qom hailed him as the only Shia king in the world and pledged allegiance to him on an annual basis (there Eid video recordings of that!). He also visited major Shia shrines in Iran yearly and performed pilgrimage to Makkah (photos of his hajj often shock non-Iranian Khomeinists, whose brains have been completely fried by regime propaganda).

Again, as a Sunni Muslim from Iran, I do not consider Mohammad Reza to have been an upright Muslim at all. However, the propaganda by both Khomeinists and neo-Pahlavists claiming that he was some Islam-hating Jew-lover is nothing but foolish nonsense. It’s telling that Daniel regurgitates this. Then again, his Persian is on the level of a five-year-old, and he is entirely ignorant of these realities. Frankly, if he remained silent, it would save him from making such embarrassing statements.

As for Arab-hating: anti-Arab sentiment is part and parcel of mainstream Persian culture. Pahlavists are openly racist about it, and Khomeinists disguise their racism under the pretext of “loving Ahl al-Bayt and hating their enemies”, while in reality they loathe the majority of the Sahabah (Arabs)—especially those who played pivotal roles in the conquest of Persia, like Umar, Khalid, Saad, may Allah be pleased with them, etc. Just look up the discrimination against Ahwazi Arabs to see how the Khomeinist regime is no less anti-Arab than the former Pahlavist one.

This Sufi (who advocates invoking Ali ibn Abi Talib in times of need—i.e. exactly the opposite of what Allah commands) is defending the infamous Ayatullat Khoie, whose disciple is Sistani. Khoie explicitly made takfir on Sunnis in his book and was known to smell of filthy cigarettes as he was a chain smoker with his own personal smoking den, and despite numerous warnings by doctors, he could neither give up the filthy habit of smoking nor learn Arabic properly. That's what they call a scholar (even other Shia scholars attacked him for that).
But do you know the actual reason this Sufi defends the likes of Khoie?

They literally pray to fire and ask it to take away their pallor, sickness, and problems and, in return, give them redness, warmth, and energy.

Official statistics on the Sunni population in Iran, as reported by the regime, are severely outdated and deliberately understated. Regime sources claim the Sunni population is around 10% (with some dubious sources suggesting 2%, 3%, or 5%), while Sunni Iranian sources estimate it to be between 20% and 25%. At this point, he might as well engage in mud-bathing and self-flagellation like a Rafidi, for is there a humiliation greater than going out of one’s way to essentially defend one of the principal enemies of Ahl al-Sunnah, the Rafidah Majoos, all because some fighting groups in the Muslim world, under severe duress, are cooperating with them (and would even cooperate with Hindus if it helped them, as is permitted under duress). Keep in mind, these statements of kufr from Khomeini, are readily available throughout Iran, and no one has retracted these statements.
