Today the Biden administration sent a message to Texas: start getting serious about Medicaid expansion.
For the past decade, Texas has been abusing a short-term waiver to receive federal $ intended to be a bridge until the the state comes up with a long term solution.

The state of Texas has never had a long term solution on Medicaid expansion or access to affordable care.
A handful of reporters have reached out to me about Texas turnout today and I want to clear something up:
Biden did not underperform with Texas Latinos.
Dems increased vote share in Cameron, Hidalgo, Webb, and El Paso from 2016-2020.

When you look at counties with an expanded electorate, such as Latino-majority counties, it's important to consider the actual vote share and *not just the percentage.*
