Dear @Emma_Marris you admit that miners have an an incentive to feed itself on methane, in a location-agnostic fashion, highly dispatcheable, and yet you failed to see how that's the best ESG tech ever invented ?

Please help me understand the logic. @Emma_Marris Slashing CH4 emissions - anywhere worldwide - is by far the biggest lever we get. And yet failed miserably for the past 3 decaded to mitigate it.

Hi @_BenjaminAJones, I read the paper.

It leaves out of the equation :
1) Fiat-currencies vs sound money cost-opp
2) Gold vs #btc mining impacts
3) Methane abatement with #Bitcoin

This leads into a wrong conclusion ofc🤷‍♂️

"2022 Global #Gas Flaring Tracker Report" from the world bank is out: "In 2021, 144 billion cubic meters of gas was needlessly burnt in flares".

An equivalent of 1,406.8 TWh, 3 times the power consumption of a country like 🇫🇷 for a year !
