@Emma_Marris Slashing CH4 emissions - anywhere worldwide - is by far the biggest lever we get. And yet failed miserably for the past 3 decaded to mitigate it.
"2022 Global #Gas Flaring Tracker Report" from the world bank is out: "In 2021, 144 billion cubic meters of gas was needlessly burnt in flares".
An equivalent of 1,406.8 TWh, 3 times the power consumption of a country like 🇫🇷 for a year !
