#BREAKING: @MIT Professor Gang Chen was arrested at his home in Cambridge, MA, this morning for allegedly failing to disclose his work with the People’s Republic of China to @ENERGY, when applying for millions of dollars in U.S. federal grants. justice.gov/usao-ma/pr/mit… Statement on Arrest of Gang Chen by FBI Boston Division Spec @MIT @ENERGY @MIT Prof. Gang Chen is also accused of accepting approx. $29M in foreign funding, primarily from entities tied to the People's Republic of China. As alleged, he also received at least $355K through a variety of Chinese talent plans he never disclosed to @MIT or the federal govt.
