🧵Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day & as a Jewish woman whose had large portion of her family murdered by the Nazis, it is imperative that I speak out. I am here today b/c of my Bubbe & Zadye. 1/10 The Nazis were great record keepers, so we know that my Bubbe's large family was forced out of their homes, made to dig their own graves and then murdered. I know that my Zadye wasn't in his village when the Nazis showed up to murder them. 2/10

STOP letting the Right DEFINE harmful terms & US adopting them! Critical Race Theory isn't educating everyone on black history.... it was a LEGAL theory about looking back @ laws & determining that many of them disproportionately effected minorities more than whites. 1/4 CRT isn't race education. CRT isn't teaching kids about ALL of our history. CRT isn't corrupting young minds. CRT isn't black history month. CRT isn't teaching about slavery. CRT isn't about making white people feel bad. 2/4
