Kamala Harris’s choice of Governor Tim Walz for a running mate shows that progressive policies are popular and that our movements, including the movement for Palestinian freedom, are organizing with real power. Now we keep pushing for an end to US complicity in Israeli genocide. Our movements made clear that Governor Josh Shapiro would have been an unacceptable pick for many reasons, including his aggressive stance against Palestinian rights activists. He supported anti-boycott initiatives and compared principled anti-war student protestors to the KKK.
