( 🧵) Το @HCoastGuard είχε υποστηρίξει ότι δεν προέβη στη διάσωση του σκάφους επειδή δεν διέτρεχε κίνδυνο, οι επιβάτες δεν ήθελαν βοήθεια και το παλιό ψαροκάικο το οποίο εντοπίστηκε, εντός της 🇬🇷 ζώνης έρευνας & διάσωσης μεν αλλά στα διεθνή ύδατα δε, είχε σταθερή πορεία προς Ιταλία.

A short #osint thread... 🧵 @SARwatchMED shows below that the photo was taken from inside a P355GR coastal patrol vessel. Which is exactly the type of @HCoastGuard vessel ΛΣ-920. That vessel left from Crete on Tuesday and approached the migrant boat.

🚨Interesting development on the Pylos shipwreck this morning with this piece by @jeansouliotis. A source in the @HCoastGuard said that one of their vessels attempted to tie rope to the migrant boat off Pylos on Tuesday evening. (THREAD) 🧵#Πύλος
kathimerini.gr/society/562473… The @HCoastGuard does not deny the rope incident, they they don't call it an attempt to tow the migrant boat. Interestingly, the @HCoastGuard did not mention this incident in its detailed timeline of events that was published on Wednesday.
