Should I join and infiltrate the DSA to agitate, educate, and organize to convert their membership into left-YIMBYs? My plan is basically:

1. Carry butterscotch candies in my pocket at events and reward them with candy every time they say something pro-housing or that is accurate about economics.

Sierra Club board member thinks people who want to build enough housing for everyone are MAGA 🤔.

Not that surprising when you remember that "environmentalists" think humans are pollution. I guess building more housing like we used to before 1970 would actually make America great again. But I'm not sure that's what he meant.

In North Dakota in 2014 a rapid increase in demand due to rapid increase in jobs exceeded the limited supply. A 3 bed was $4500/month and now a 3 bed is $1300 after demand and jobs left and supply increased.

Supply and demand is a very consistent thing! Population increased by 230% and they built housing. Then rents came down by 70%

Supply of oil increased and prices went down, so they stopped fracking

Now since oil demand/price is high to supply, prices are up, and they are fracking again.
