Tech is moving at lightning speed. AI tools are everywhere, founders are scaling faster, and corporates are swapping SaaS for their own AI-built tools.
This shift isn’t just about saving time; it’s a whole new paradigm of building companies.🧵
@sprintcrawlfly @MaximMatias1
1/ Take this: an 8-year-old built a Harry Potter chatbot in 10 minutes using Cursor (yes, an AI tool). The bar for building is almost non-existent.
It’s a playground out here, and everyone can build.🍼

1\ There is a reason why eVTOL OEMs need exceptional funding to bring their products to the market.
For a novel aircraft of such size, it typically takes between $500M - $1B to develop a vehicle, certify it, and begin manufacturing at scale.
2\ Comparatively, airliners can cost 5-30x.
The Boeing 777 burnt $5B. The 787 Dreamliner skyrocketed in costs north of $32B due to global subcontracting issues. This process can take 7-10 years on average.
And these have well-established certification bases, unlike eVTOL.

As I write these words, earthquakes of magnitudes 7.8 & 7.5 have devastated Turkey & Syria with 22k dead. Could casualties be minimized? Absolutely.
Besides sophisticated leadership, able gov't, and superior logistics, Advanced Air Mobility tech can save lives.
Let's dig in🧵
1\Turkey, its people, and its government were NOT prepared for an earthquake of this size or any other major disaster. This has multiple reasons, which can be divided into 3:
1) Lack of meritocracy at all layers of society 2) Corruption 3) Unscientific beliefs & fatalism

1\ In this edition of @ClearProp8 , I dive into many exciting papers on eVTOL vehicle sizing, AI Gym for AAM, Separation Standards & Corridors, and Near-Term Deployment at DFW airport.
2\ However, what's dearer to me is the suffering and significant loss of human life happening right now, in Southeastern Turkey, due to two major earthquakes of intensity 7.8 and 7.5.
