Earlier today on the floor of the house of representatives, I announced my defection from the All Progressives Congress to Accord Party.

After my exit from the APC, we engaged other political parties, we had numerous options, but we opted for Accord for very peculiar reasons. Accord party happens to be the first party in Oyo state to zone Oyo North Senatorial ticket to Oke Ogun considering that Ogbomosho Zone had done two terms.

The party has shown an unwavering commitment to the yearnings of the people of Oke-Ogun.

How time flies! It was just like yesterday when I crossed path with Kenny @kenny_peller and his twin brother, Taiwo. It happened during one of my campaign outings in the 2019 general election. I was on the podium when I noticed him from afar struggling unrepentantly with some Policemen. I was worried what a child of his age was doing there at such time of the night. I asked them to bring him on stage. He requested that I pass him the microphone, and I obliged.

*Why I Chose not to contest for House of Rep for second term*

Many people wonder why I chose not to return to the House of Representatives for the second term. For the sake of integrity, my decision is based on my consideration of other local governments Image within my constituency- Kajola and Iwajowa who haven’t presented a representative for almost 16 years now. Returning to the House for the second term will mean denying them the opportunity to present a representative for twenty years.

This rascality has to stop NOW! Another peaceful protester Jimoh Isiaq killed by a policeman during the Ogbomosho #EndSarsProtest. This is so painful and hits me differently. The demand is clear #EndSars not to reform the unit.

#Thread The death of Jimoh Isiaq should trigger a more constructive and robust engagement with Nigerians who are expressing their displeasure with the police.

If the Federal Government claims that 2.6m households have benefited from the N20,000 palliatives, does that imply that 52 billion Naira was shared amongst Nigerians? I’ve been pondering on this to make sense of it. The FGN needs a better strategy, because if after this huge amount has been disbursed to households, I’m still getting loads of calls and pressure from many of my people asking for my help with palliatives, then the Government strategy isn’t right.

Atiku and PDP spend so much time criticizing PMB and APC, they forget they were in power for 16 years and failed Nigerians! They forget Atiku was in govt for 8 yrs and didnt achieve any of these broad plans he is speaking about now? Why didnt they privatize/sell NNPC in 16 years? It is best for PDP and Atiku to focus on telling Nigerians why they won’t fail again. Why they should ever be trusted again with our nation’s wealth? This #2019Debate would have been the perfect opportunity for Alh Atiku to try to prove that.
