As you can see from the figures Welsh child admissions doubled in 4 months since the return to schools.

Of the 16 young 0-9 that needed critical care 13 were in those 4 months.

Why are English Paediatricians failing our children ?

@MAbsoud @ShamezLadhani @apsmunro @RCPCHtweets are forever telling us how mild Covid is for children, though the evidence doesn't match.

I have a short question for them: If as they say Covid is so mild why are more English children dying from Covid than their foreign counterparts ?
ONS states 93 children in England have Covid on their death certificate.

ONS Child (0-19) Covid death certificate occurrences now stands at 93 with 5 child deaths occurring w/e 14th January.

There's a 1 in 10 chance if you get Covid you'll suffer Long Covid. You may not be able to make the stairs in one go due to COPD type symptoms,children have lost motor skills, others parts of memory. Worse you'll have organ damage or blood clots leading to stroke. 1 in 10 Children having to learn to walk again....

570 Educational staff died of #COVID19 to the 28th Dec, the youngest I know of just 25. Opening without mitigations in place will mean a great deal more deaths & of course as children take the virus home more in the community.
