In the latest @UNHumanRights letter to #India, 9 UN Special Rapporteurs have raised concern over the widespread human rights violations in #Kashmir, especially #enforceddisappearances #extrajudicialkillings and #torture. Excerpts from the letter are below: UN SR's have raised concern over sudden closure of the SHRC in Oct 2019 which has left the people of the region with limited legal recourse to seek justice for potential human-rights violations committed against them including enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings etc.
