A Hennepin County Commissioner was a victim in a string of car-jackings over the weekend.
She went on Facebook to alert the public, and commented on a local crime page to ask for additional support after reporting the crime to police.
But just days earlier... ...this Commissioner reiterated her ongoing support for abolishing the Minneapolis police, a measure being voted on today in the city. Soon after posting, she deleted her Facebook posts.
It's easy to point out issues of integrity here, but the bigger issue isn't...

Last week I posted something on Facebook that got more engagement than anything I've ever posted.
More than any travel pic, inspirational quote, song/video I like, fish I caught, the drawn-out political opinions, stories of travel adventures from afar, or any of my media work. All these were outdone by something else--something so basic. And it technically wasn't even a post. I didn't write anything! I just updated my profile status, which automatically generated a post.

On Friday this post simply read "In a Relationship" with a little heart icon.
