In just under two weeks, donors have sent >$45M in crypto to Ukrainian-government controlled wallets for relief and supplies.

📜 The first mention of #Bitcoin in an SEC filing occurred in 2011.

📈 Bitcoin has since been mentioned in 11,510 filings by over 2,000 unique filing entities.

$ETH has had a transformative 2021 so far, and order book data suggests a maturing market.

🧵/ Total quantity (in USD) within the top 100 bids and asks has been increasing.

This is largely due to ETH's recent price movement in USD.

A more profound improvement is the 𝑞𝑢𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 of the market depth with prices closer to the best bid and ask.

On May 10, Coin Metrics’ internal systems fired off an alert that an abnormally large deposit took place on @Gemini. An hour later, markets fell almost 16%

For only the fourth time in history, BTC MVRV has dropped below 1. In hindsight, the past periods where MVRV dropped below 1 have been the best times to accumulate BTC at a relatively discounted price. The large drop in MVRV is because the BTC market cap dropped 46% over the last 7 days, while the realized cap has only dropped 3%

The recent collapse in BTC transaction count seems to correlate with the end of the Veriblock testnet (on March 4th) which was accounting for 20-30% of BTC transactions

coinmetrics.io/charts/#assets… It's possible, as Trustnodes suggests, that a Venezuelan blackout was responsible for some of the drop, but the Veriblock testnet ending correlates perfectly with the drop and would explain the entire decline.

Great news – we've finally finished our more detailed parse of the Bitcoin blockchain, and we have a fully fleshed out suite of data ready for BTC specifically. This includes median tx fee, difficulty, median tx value, payment count, and more to come. Median figures are SO much more informative than averages. Here's mean versus median fees for BTC:
