In reply, @tonymahar said "this aspiration (2030) was developed by grassroots farmers and has been in the public domain for 18 months now”.
This fact+Canavan's intervention coming so long after the policy hit the public, shows the former resources minister's purpose is tribal.
"A football club in the Victorian Liberal-held marginal seat of La Trobe received a $500,000 grant despite having an assessment score of 50 out of 100, when a roller derby upgrade in the safe Nationals seat of Gippsland did not get a cent despite its 98 rating."
