📢CfP alert: New special issue on 'Care-ful Data Studies'. We aim to explore critical data studies through the lens of the “ethics of care”, where data-driven automation is not just a ‘matter of concern’ but also a ‘matter of care’. Care can be understood as both an ethico-political obligation and a practice of local tinkering required to create better futures. This double meaning bridges normative perspectives on care, critiqued as distanced from experience, and local, partial practices of caring.
