Nah lets talk about this. People of color definitely need to fight to get properly diagnosed. Im hispanic and my parents refused to acknowledge that there was something wrong with me. So i had to fight for myself because i knew something was wrong.
I had to self diagnose as major depression because that’s what it looked like, only the was i able to go to my doctor who put me on antidepressants, who then asked how i did on them. I told her how my moods worsened to alot of anger. She’s the one who figured out i was Bi-polar.
