Russian MoD presented a detailed 3D timeline of Il-20 downing in Syria on September 17. Israeli Air Force had notified Russia of its planned attacks on Syrian targets simultaneously with the beginning of the strikes (1 min before), violating 2015 bilateral agreements to prevent incidents in Syrian airspace.

The Il-20 was on patrol in the same area.The warning came just a minute before the attack started,which did not leave time to move the Il-20 plane to a safe area.

Russia and Turkey have agreed a demilitarized zone between militants and Syrian Army troops in Syria’s Idlib. Agreed to create a demilitarized zone between SAA and militants before October 15. The zone will be 15-20km wide, with full withdrawal of hardline militants from there, including the Jabhat Al-Nusra.
