1) IHE colleagues with #remotelearning students-it's imp to reach out to students in states affected (or who will be) by #CaliforniaWildfires#TropicalStormLaura#HurricaneMarco. It may not be something you're accustomed to doing unless you live in the same area/are affected too. 2) Having supported #onlinestudents through many natural & human made disasters, we've found it helps to reach out to students *proactively* to let them know we care & to share our contact info, encourage them to reach out if we can be of any help, & to ask them to check in...
