We cannot get rid of women's spaces until that socialisation has been undone. The recent explosion of postmodernist ideals has been fed by the fact that many people, including children, live their lives almost entirely in a place that is rooted in abstraction and divorced from living, breathing, material reality - the internet. If there’s anything I’ve learned from the trans debate, it’s that society will always ascribe the worst possible motivations for the actions of women, and the best possible motivations for the actions of men... against ALL the evidence.
