Hey, @TheRealNHSteve, if you wanted to know whether Brock funds @GraniteMemo, you could have asked. The answer is no. I fund it myself.

So far the site isn't paying anyone's bills, mine included. I took a buyout from my USA TODAY job effective last month. Steve took issue with my article about the NH voter confidence committee. The group has been criticized for platforming baseless election claims.
Multiple members said they believe their draft report's summary of testimony includes unreliable info.

Clearly an error in #nhsen results from NH SOS, which show 193 votes for Bolduc & 1106 for Hassan in Columbia (pop. ~660). sos.nh.gov/elections/elec…

Data from DDHQ & local media show 193 & 106 votes.

I’ve reached out to NH SOS. Hassan appears to have won the statewide race by roughly 55,000 votes. Her victory was projected by media outlets that recorded 106 votes for her in Columbia (not 1106), so these Columbia numbers aren’t going to change the outcome. Still, we need to understand & fix the error.

Voter turnout this morning was “very, very” strong and fairly steady in Newmarket, averaging one ballot every 10 seconds, according to Moderator Christopher Hawkins.

At this rate, Newmarket is on track to hit 60%-70% voter turnout, Hawkins said.
#NHPolitics #ElectionDay Sign outside Newmarket school says “Vote here today.” Newmarket started #ElectionDay with 6,649 registered voters and expects to add 200-300 same-day registrants, Hawkins said.

There were 1,762 filled-out ballots collected in-person at the town’s polling site, as of 11:45 a.m., plus roughly 440 absentee ballots returned, he said.

Don’t feign ignorance about Sen. Josh Hawley’s “questions.” He was making a statement. His claim? That trans men & nonbinary people who can get pregnant are ~actually~ women. He’s asserting that their reproductive organs define their gender.

That’s literally ✨transphobic✨. Imagine if Hawley were to ask me, “Don’t you think you & your husband are just confused straight men?”

His “question” would clearly be ✨homophobic✨.

(If you claim someone is delusional for embracing an LGBTQ identifier, you’re being some kind of -phobic.)

This is a former Republican Senator from Maine, whose role as a bipartisan collaborator has been echoed by @SenatorCollins. #mepolitics Collins told us last fall she’s pushing for an ethos of moderate leadership, like that of Snowe and former GOP Sen. Margaret Chase Smith, to rebalance the divisive political dynamics in Washington. amp.seacoastonline.com/amp/42785027
