BREAKING: RCMP tactical units breached the first #Wetsuweten camp at 39KM shortly before 5 a.m. PT this morning. 4 arrests made so far. Journalist @GitxsanJt is on scene and reporting for Ricochet. Follow this account for updates. The camp at 39KM isn’t blocking the road. It’s ten meters off the road. The RCMP took down this canvas fence between the road and the camp and appear to be dismantling the camp. Jerome Turner is embedded at the camp at 44 KM and we’ll be tweeting live updates from him.
