There is an increasing need for developer talent in #Uganda, and while there are bootcamps, meetups, etc, there is pressure to get talent

IMO and experience there is a need for organizations to build and grow their own in-house talent

Aptitude and attitude are key factors here Here are my thoughts, ideas and looking to join hands with others to build and grow a local developer pool

These ideas are already in play in @metsprogrammeug sponsored @UgandaEMR developer bootcamps, bit.ly/2OAeXtB, plus the work done by Outbox, Andela, Refactory

My @eversendapp experience has been smooth…

I have loaded it on my rooted #Android phone with #LineageOS 16.1, uploaded by identification for KYC and was verified within minutes…

I was so shocked that it had happened so fast, I am feeling the slacker @eversendapp Why install the app, needed to make a payment to a service provider in Kenya and was stuck without a way to do it from my current location

Grit and hard work will beat talent every time hands down… Malcom Gladwell’s 10,000 hour rule to mastery is but an indicator, but if you don't put in the time initially how will you know how do it smartly.

When you tackle mastery for 2-3 skills, only then will you have sufficient experience and failures to know what do & what not to

- A Drupal 8 website with default settings that need to be secured ASAP
- Remove MetaContent generator and CMS specific generator content
- I see only users with id 51 and 54 have content
- Numeric IDs of authors and news stories need to be hidden

#TechGrowth Being a senior developer is from experience, which only comes with time.

A good measure is the Malcolm Gladwell 10,000 hour rule of mastery.

IMO a Senior developer is one on their way to achieving mastery of one aspect of the craft i.e. ~ 6,000 hours of practice

1. Login requires phone number and email yet estatement portal requires NSSF No.

2. There is a popup display ~XXXXXX~ maybe the developers left it in there

3. When one enters email the app checks for SMS … received #NSSFGoApp review

4. Why does the app need access to media on my phone? Why is the external permission necessary for an app that provides information? #AppSecurity
