1) I have people berate me that I could still do office work not claiming #PIP & #LCWRA despite my being #disabled. Here's the thing - I DID do office work. However, I had to stop because the crippling fatigue that comes with #MS got to the point where I was 2) passing out from exhaustion while I was actually speaking to clients on the phone. My head would crash onto the keyboard, & I'd just be gone. So I got moved to a non-customer facing role. Fatigue took me again, I couldn't focus on entering very financially sensitive data.

On #disability #benefits

1) There's loads of folks on here who claim there's significant fraud on #PIP. Let me disabuse you of that notion with a simple statistic - the fraud rate is 0%, that's the DWPs very own numbers.

Now, if you've seen someone boasting about cheating... 2)...the system, that's not evidence of fraud. People boast about things they've not done all the time. If your aunties window cleaners girlfriend knows someone who's cheating the system, that's also not evidence, it's hearsay and rumour.

1) Dear @Keir_Starmer @leicesterliz @RachelReevesMP. You'll likely not see/read this, but it's important to me & others like me, so please forgive me if I ramble

I'm #disabled, & I rely on #benefits. My chronic conditions, such as #MS, #epilepsy, #depression, & other... 2)...mental health issues mean I can't work. I'll never be able to work, the issues I have are complex & insurmountable. And you know what? There's thousands out there like me. So here's the thing - the constant rhetoric about helping working people, forcing people to work...

A thread (tw: suicide)

Dear @RishiSunak.

I know you won't read this, but it's important I write it, just to tell you a bit about me.

I'm #disabled, with progressive multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic depression & more.

Over 10 years ago I lost my job due to my disability. It broke me. I sank into deep depression, & had psychotic breaks. Hallucinations came & went, & I locked myself away, sinking further into the mire of depression, paranoia, & crippling anxiety. I wanted to end my life, & I couldn't get the medical support I needed due to cuts...

1) First #energy bill received since smart meter installation?

£174.08.

I'm a single, #disabled man living in a 1 bed flat. I can't afford to put the #heating on. I only shower twice a week now. I barely use the oven/hob/kettle. I'm rationing lighting, for goodness sake. 2) There's nothing else I can cut back on. The cold makes my #MultipleSclerosis worse, but I'll have to ensure it. But because I'm on the wrong legacy #benefits I don't get energy assistance, so I'm stuck spending the equivalent of 2 weeks rent solely on energy.
