As more states move toward reopening and the national picture improves, we revisited some of the reopened states- many of which have seen upward trends in new #COVID19 cases since reopening.

- None of them are in #NewYork
- #1 and #5 in #Tennessee
- #2 in #Nebraska
- #3 in #Arkansas
- #4 in #Minnesota
- Most of them are in reopened states (MN has some restrictions)

We used county-level data to identify where in the country the growth of new #COVID19 cases is the highest. The top 20 across the nation are shown in the table below. We immediately noticed that #Nebraska has 4 out of the top 20 counties with the highest growth rates.

The CDC’s proposed criteria for reopening states (whitehouse.gov/openingamerica…) recommends a downward trajectory of #COVID19 cases within a 14-day period (among other criteria). We reviewed case counts over the past 14 days for states reopening today
