Life in Ukraine #2: 12:07 AM in Ukraine. City of Lviv. Almost complete darkness outside except for some faint light from the moon. You can hear the silence, & see some stars you’ve never seen before. One generator breaks the silence. It’s far but not far enough not to hear it 👇🏻 It doesn’t bother us. Once generators are made more available this monotonous sound will be heard louder & from different angles. Every day you adapt better. Watched a movie on my phone that I downloaded previously. Felt relatively normal but the water hasn’t been available👇🏻

- we closed our coffee shop/bakery only *temporarily* as we wait to complete the fundraiser (still 573,39$ short)
- in the last 72 hours we didn’t get any electricity during the day 👇🏻 - we got some hours of ⚡️ during the night. We washed, heated the house, & showered (oh, this is a huge victory!)
- it’s becoming noisier to walk outside as retail shops are installing generators near their entrances;
- people are very eager to see all shops with generators 👇🏻
