@ninaturner Gender is an accident of birth not deserving of loyalty. It doesn't overcome a record & policies. Sanders, who happens to be male, was fighting for my #ReproductiveRights in 1972, before Roe v Wade, at a time Warren was supporting & voting for the GOP.
@ninaturner Sanders, who happens to have been born male, led in fighting #domesticviolence against women. He even got the NFL to help. But, it's sexist to support him? 🤔⁉️#BernieYellsForUs and always has.

Citizens could register online or get registered automatically, via data from driver's licenses or other gov.t sources. For federal elections, states would have to provide same-day registration & at least 15 days of early voting. Election Day would be a federal holiday.

In a stunning upset in 1981, @SenSanders won the mayoral race in Burlington, Vermont’s largest city. He shocked the city’s political establishment by defeating a six-term, local machine mayor. Burlington is now reported to be one of the most livable cities in the nation. In 1984, Mayor @SenSanders established the Burlington Community Land Trust - the 1st municipal housing land-trust in the country for affordable housing. The project became a model emulated throughout the world. It later won an award from HUD.
