According to reporting by AP, 17-year-old Pieper Lewis was charged with first-degree murder after she stabbed and killed her 37-year-old accused rapist, Zachary Brooks. Lewis was 15 years old at the time of the June 2020 killing.

Sixty-nine-year-old retired #KansasCity detective Roger Golubski appeared in court last week on six counts related to the rape of a woman from 1998 to 2001 and another woman from 1999 to 2002 while he was employed by the Kansas City Police Department.
