PortalVR 2.0 is the result of many months of user testing and R&D. The first big breakthrough was getting the Quest to act as a controller base station. You put it in developer mode, plug it in, and PortalVR sets it all up. Leave it plugged in, and you have permanent PC 6DOF.
Then, I had to figure out camera controls. Face tracking with your webcam lets you lean and duck, and placing your finger on a controller joystick lets you spin and drag the camera. It works great, using the controller cap touch surfaces. You can customize it to your liking.
