Reflecting on the motivation for Tufan al-Aqsa, Hamas political bureau member Husam Badran—who had been a commander for al-Qassam Brigades in the West Bank, spent 14 years in the occupation’s prisons (where he was a cellmate and close friend of Sinwar), and would later
form the Hamas Office of National Relations (HONR)—remarked that:

“We are not seeking improved living conditions-we are not a minority living within another state.
We want our political rights. And, therefore, I tell you that October 7 is fundamentally because of this idea." Image

This is a telling remarks, which betrays the occupation’s misunderstanding of the effect of the ceasefire agreements that followed the May 2021 war, termed “Operation Guardian of the Walls” by the occupation and “Sword of Jerusalem” by al-Qassam and Saraya al-Quds.

If you want a December that actually feels like Christmas, these places still get it right.

Snow, bells, candlelight, and streets older than modern life itself.

Covid infections make people more vulnerable to other infections.

Here's what the Cleveland Clinic say about Brucellosis:
"Brucellosis is an uncommon bacterial infection that comes on slowly and can last for a long time. It can look like a lot of other illnesses, so it’s important to see a healthcare provider to get properly diagnosed and treated. Brucellosis usually isn’t serious, but it can infect your bones and organs, so it’s important to keep a close eye on your symptoms."

Less uncommon now, apparently.Image
Meanwhile... listeria continues its rampant ascent. Image
And so does TB. Image

Today I'm releasing PortalVR 2.0, which lets you play the entire SteamVR ecosystem without wearing a headset. You plug in your Quest, put it on your desk, and play on your monitor.

It supports 3D glasses and even 3D monitors! 😎

Get it now:

Thread 🧵 portalvr.io
PortalVR 2.0 is the result of many months of user testing and R&D. The first big breakthrough was getting the Quest to act as a controller base station. You put it in developer mode, plug it in, and PortalVR sets it all up. Leave it plugged in, and you have permanent PC 6DOF.
Then, I had to figure out camera controls. Face tracking with your webcam lets you lean and duck, and placing your finger on a controller joystick lets you spin and drag the camera. It works great, using the controller cap touch surfaces. You can customize it to your liking.

Ever seen Page 2, 3, or 4 of a category suddenly outrank your primary category page?

It’s one of the most confusing ecommerce SEO issues

And it happens more often than you think.

Here’s the cause and the fix: 🧵👇
1/ The Pagination Problem:

Ecommerce site with 500 products per category.

Pagination:

- /category (Page 1)
- /category?page=2
- /category?page=3
- etc.

Google started ranking page 2 for main keyword.

Page 1 disappeared.
2/ Why This Happens:

Google sees paginated pages as:

- Same category
- Similar content
- Competing for same keywords

Without proper signals:

- Google picks wrong page
- Canonical confusion
- Link equity diluted
- Rankings unstable

🧵Former Special Counsel Jack Smith wants video of his 8-hour deposition released and continues to ask for the opportunity to testify in a public hearing.

This has been Smith's repeated request since October. Image
The reason it wasn't public is because House Judiciary Committee chair Rep. Jim Jordan declined to make it so.

Though he didn't rule out a future public hearing. Image
It would be great to get the video of the 8-hour closed-door session released and also have a public hearing.

Both sides will use it for political gain and reinforcement of their preferred narratives, so it will be annoying in that way but could also be useful...

@TmsFleming @SpitGriffon @PierrePoilievre Bills that don't make sense for Cdns or need amendments-that's the role of opposition to do better. Re gun control-Liberals are just trying to look good for votes, not even based on any evidence. Even RCMP states it's useless. Image

@TmsFleming @SpitGriffon @PierrePoilievre Re voting against min wage-misinformation. Context: In Canada, the federal minimum wage only applies to a tiny sliver of workers in federally regulated industries like banking or telecom—think 6% of the workforce. Provinces set their own minimum wages, so this claim is already on
@TmsFleming @SpitGriffon @PierrePoilievre shaky ground.
Analysis: The Liberals slapped a $15/hour federal minimum wage into place in 2021, indexed to inflation, through regulation—NOT A PARLIAMENTARY VOTE. So, let’s get this straight: there WASN’T even a vote for Poilievre to “vote against”! This claim is a slimy half-

On Feb 17 2026 Google will be shutting down Dark Web Report, a monitoring service for leaked personal data.

If you relied on this tool, don't worry. You're not powerless; there are other tools, as well as things you can do to reduce the damage in the case of a breach.

1/6
Launched in 2023, Dark Web Report allows consumer Google accounts to find out if their personal information has appeared on the dark web.

If Google finds a match through this tool, it alerts you and explains what information was exposed.

2/6
In the event of a breach:

1. Change passwords
2. Turn on 2FA
3. Monitor accounts
4. Be cautious of phishing
5. Remove unnecessary personal information from the web
6. Watch your financial and credit information

But with this tool gone, how would you know about one?
