#CaravanaMigrante | Dopo la "sorpresa" di ieri il presidente guatemalteco Giammattei ha proclamato lo stato di emergenza nelle zone dove passeranno i migranti: ciò significa che il controllo del territorio passa all'esercito che infatti ha organizzato molti posti di blocco. 
E infatti, secondo le autorità guatemalteche, la #caravanamigrante avrebbe rallentato e inoltre già 78 persone sono state detenute e costrette a tornare indietro. Il presidente Giammattei ha dichiarato che la carovana va fermata ad ogni costo.
Veniamo al #Messico: per il presidente AMLO, sempre più impresentabile, la #caravanamigrante sarebbe stata "preparata" (da chi? forze del male?) e avrebbe a che fare con le elezioni negli USA.

Il ministro degli esteri Ebrard avverte ai migranti che anche le prossime carovane «avranno lo stesso tipo di risposta e la stessa posizione del governo messicano».
Infine, la ministra Sanchez Cordero chiude questo bell'esempio di governo di sinistra mentendo: «Non c'è stato nessun incidente, nessun atto di repressione né di molestia, solo di ordine del flusso».

Al momento, una delegazione sta cercando di contrattare con le autorità migratorie messicane l'entrata nel paese per tutto il gruppo. In caso di risposta negativa sembra vogliano provare ad attraversare il rio Suchiate, confine naturale tra i due stati.
A nulla sono valsi i divieti, gli accordi tra gli stati sotto le minacce di sanzioni economiche di Trump, schierare uomini armati o le “offerte” di lavoro promesse da López Obrador, nella speranza di costringere queste persone a fermarsi in Messico.

Much of the caravan is in Mexico City, where a stadium complex is now home to thousands. Families are living in large tents, getting three meals a day, vaccinations, clothes, haircuts, “know your rights” trainings, etc. Kids are entertained by aid workers dressed as clowns.
People drop off supplies all day long, some Mexico City residents have even set up a tortilla station, cooking for those in the stadium. “They’re all our brothers,” said one woman kneading dough. They’re helping, she said, b/c “we could be in their spot at any time.”
