Roughly 300 migrants arrived in Mexico City between last night and this morning - many of them hitching rides on top of trucks and semis in order to make it here to this stadium where México is allowing them to stay - many will rest and sleep on the stadium’s open air bleachers
One of two tents being assembled in this stadium where Mexican officials say they will be able to house 5,000 migrants from the caravan starting tonight.
The first of thousands of migrants expected to reach Mexico City this week - sleeping in an open air stadium provided by the Mexican gov. who also intends to set up tents and offer food, medical attention and info re: refugee status if they stay in MX #caravanamigrante
