This collaboration came about when Ann McCreath of KikoRomeo had the immense privilege of mentoring designers in Khartoum under the #ModaConnects program. She met the Peter & Black founder *** there.
Sudanese creatives just want to focus on their futures and have an enabling environment to express themselves freely and connect to others globally.
Sudan is filled with immense knowledge and artistry which is little known globally. Our collabo is an informal, impromptu attempt to shine a light on the positivity amongst creatives in Sudan to embrace new worlds. We all pray that this will soon be possible for many more people.
