#COVID19 key concerns in 🇨🇦 right now:

Over the past week we’ve started to see a sharp rise in #COVID19 cases in Canada and a number of provinces have reported cases with no links to travel.

#COVID19 cases with no links to travel are a signal that there is some degree of community spread occurring in the area(s) where cases are being found.

To find and stamp out community transmission, #PublicHealth authorities across Canada remain laser focused on detecting and interrupting any chains of transmission in the community.

#FlattenTheCurve

Over 50,000 people have been tested to date at provincial and national public health labs across Canada to identify #COVID19 cases, look for community spread, and quickly interrupt any chains of transmission to #SlowTheSpread.

In addition to public health actions, governments, community groups, event organisers, and businesses have banded together to #FlattentheCurve through #SocialDistancing actions.
