Good afternoon. By our count, #Canada has now hit the milestone of 100,000 reported #COVID19 cases. As many others have pointed out, this number represents only a fraction of true total cases, which will be estimable only in retrospect.

You can download our #COVID19 #Canada #OpenData from the GitHub page for the COVID-19 Canada Open Data Working Group (@ishaberry2, @shelbysturrock, @GBrankston, @DrTanyaRossi, @Kamalraj_ach, @_MeghanONeill, @VinyasHarish, @JWright159, others).

But now is not the time for complacency. With re-opening occurring all across the continent, we must be more vigilant than ever with hand washing, physical distancing, and masks.

We have an opportunity this summer to develop robust test/trace/isolate programs locally all across the continent. We can't waste it. I don't want to know what it looks like to fight flu and #COVID19 at the same time without this ability. We need #ContactTracing and #masksforall.
