There are many ancient paintings and huge statues of Nataraja & Sivakami in the centre of the hall.
The sculpted pillars are adorned with the exquisite murals that celebrate the ethereal beauty of princess Meenakshi and her wedding with Lord Shiva.
At the Sundareswara temple,There'r 985 richly carved pillars and each one surpasses the other in beauty.

There're over 33,000 sculptures in temple complex. 12 lofty gopurams, 4 major ones are placed facing the four directions and 4 inner gopurams entrances to the shrine.
