It’s worth noting the countries with no mask orders have less cases and deaths compare Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, and others (no mandate) to the US, Spain, Italy (pushing masks).

Green means people who said they wear masks always. Blue is people who said not at all. Now go look at per capita cases and deaths comparing the nations. US despite it being debated has about 90% of people complying, yet cases are up.

Another day of high cases on KY despite about a month into #MaskUp. Beshear is trying to downplay but it’s not showing an impact, even with bars closed and restaurants limited.

In a supposed poll earlier this year, Beshear had an 80% approval. Not rare in times of fear. People look for a Leader. A more recent poll said he was at 59%. A huge hit.

People are losing faith in him because his narrative is full of holes.

Stack says federal agents were in Louisville. Had intensive meetings with hospitals and others about testing. Says it will make sure federal resources are maximized.

@GovAndyBeshear says sure. But it depends on how universities handle. Says if cases can’t be tracked or of a positive goes to a big party it could be a big problem.

Question on every UK student being tested and if other should do that.

Beshear says there’s different ways to do things. Mentions temperature checks, screenings, distancing, large scale testing, etc.

Question on mixed messages about testing capacity. Reporter says @louisvillemayor says only get tested of symptoms are present.
