Eight bullets were fired at K*Vox, the squatted social center in the heart of the #Exarcheia district in #Athens, #Greece.

This attack happened ~3 hours ago, around 3am on Saturday morning.

Those who were inside said nobody was injured.

Among the many initiatives that utilize the community-created space in the social center, K*Vox houses ADYE, the self-organized patient-centered #healthcare facility serving the greater community in #Exarcheia, #Athens, free of charge.

K*Vox squat, which was shot-at with 8 bullets mere hours ago, is headquarters to the Rouvikonas Anarchist Collective.

Rouvikonas has been striking back at abusive govt power, economic exploitation, & organizing against state repression since 2013.

Since taking power last year, #Greece's far-right govt has occupied the anti-authoritarian cultural center of #Exarcheia with police forces, changing the everyday life of the residents in what was once known as an autonomous zone, with little police presence on the streets.

Raids & evacuations of housing squats late last fall by the #Greek govt transferred many hundreds of refugees from their sanctuary living situations to detention centers & 'concentration camps'.

People that were in K*Vox at the time shots pierced the squat this morning, reported to Unicorn Riot that police were garrisoned close & patrols would pass by every 10-15 minutes.

However, during the time of the shooting & for hours after, there was no police presence. #Greece

Yet, those who self-manage & visit VOX have not been intimidated; ppl gathered after the shooting, the bar was open the next day & a demo is planned for 2nite.
