2) So now we have a bizarre #Putin-Like mystery on our hands. What reverberation or fear of retaliation would have set off #Schinella's suicide? Weeks from retirement . . . Was he placed in the impossible position of sticking with the truths he knew to be or lying?
3) The one fact that stands out. #Schinella knew. He was in the pipeline. He got it into #Intelligencebriefing for #POTUS in March, when it was first ignored. He knew the impact of the bounty on US lives and US morale. And he was stymied.
4) So if #Schinella knew, and was stymied, did he leak in frustration, or did someone else leak and he feared that it would come back. Leaking a top secret item when sitting in his position of influence would destroy his standing.
4) Or, did #Schinella know, & know too much? Did he know of top #TrumpAdmin staff working to keep the lid on in obedience to #Trump & his #Putin backchannel?
Did he feel his life was at risk & suicide was an easier way to face it? In these strange times, anything is possible.
