➡️ Same day (12/9) @Dassault_OnAir confirmed the announcement:
1.7€ billion will go for:
➡️ 12 "used" #Rafale F3-O4T version &
➡️ 6 new built #RafaleF3R.
➡️ 14 will be single-seat #RafaleC
➡️ 4 will be two-seat #RafaleB
not declared till now which type will be of which subtype version.
The #TASMO/#AM39Exocet experienced #332Mira #ΓΕΡΑΚΙ #Hawk based at #TanagraAFB will operate the new 4.5G fighter type.
#HellenicAirForce #Rafale deliveries said to start in/after 1Q2021 with 6 used & conclude by 4Q2021/1Q2022 with 6 used & 6 new built.
The 300€ million #armament pack to be supplied & includes weapons manufactured by @SAFRAN & @byMBDA is still publicly unclear which versions & total numbers of #AASM #Hammer like SBU-38/54/64 & #BVRAAM #Meteor will include.
However #weapons already in
#HellenicAirForce inventory like AtAM: #MicaEM, #MicaIIR and AtG:

- DDM-NG
- OSF-IT
- Improved cockpit displays resolution
- Improved HUD transparency
#TALIOS (TArgeting Long-range Identification Optronic System), the new targeting pod for #Rafale,
is expected to reach 1st operational capabilities in #October2020.
Soon #AdlA will use it to theaters of operations.

On 22/9/2020 an @IAF_MCC #Rafale pilot flew a mission with #TALIOS pod.
It provides extended capabilities comparing it to #DAMOCLES:
-increased precision optics
-improved object geolocation
-moving targets tracking
-augmented reality markers
-IR capability
Today 14/01/2021 #GreekParlement approved with large majority the purchase of 18 @Dassault_OnAir #Rafale.
Purchase Contract Agreement totalling €2.5 billion, is due to be signed before the end of #January2021.

After the signing, it was announced that the first six (6) #DassaultRafale destined for #HellenicAirForce #332Mira will arrive at #TanagraAFB in #July2021 & the first crews will depart to #France for training next month.
According to @AiretCosmos the 1st #Rafale for #HellenicAirForce #332Mira will be:
#RafaleB s/n 305 reg. F-SDEC an ex. EC01.004 aircraft that used codes (in descending order): 4-EC, 118-EC, 330-EC.

Checking the ex. life of #RafaleB s/n 305 we found this shot taken 16/7/2018, at @airtattoo taxing coded as 4-EC. Looking carefully below the windshield we noted that this is a war proved machine as it is sporting 7 LGB (mission) tallies!
